Part-time clown faces child pornography charge
BEACHWOOD — A 46-year-old Beachwood man, who works as a nurse's aide and part-time clown, has been charged with possession of child pornography on his personal computer.
Walter Homan, who works as a nurse's aide with Meridian Health Care in Brick Township and has a business where he performs as "Skates the Clown," was charged with one count of child endangerment for possession of child pornography, Ocean County Prosecutor Thomas F. Kelaher announced Wednesday.
If convicted of the fourth-degree crime, Homan faces up to 18 months in prison and may also have to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law, Executive Assistant Prosecutor Robert A. Gasser said.
