ONLY IN PARK SLOPE
A berserk tenant allegedly used two knives to fatally butcher his elderly landlord in Brooklyn early yesterday - and then calmly rang a neighbor's doorbell.
"Can you do me a favor and call 911?" James McElwee, 55, asked the neighbor. "I think I killed the old man."
Neighbors described the suspect as a loose cannon, who worked odd hours. Neighbors recall him walking on the block, sometimes in a drunken stupor, screaming unintelligibly for no apparent reason.
